Fading Stars Classic Traveller Setting

Kildareth:

Nuclear, biological hell world that is extremely hazardous to all visitors to the planet. The local minor human race destroyed their world and virtually all of themselves 300 years ago. The world was rumoured to have been a large ancient relic site.

Hazard Rating- Extreme

Strackenz:

This is a graveyard world that was once inhabited by a drone/chirper race that was wiped out by a plague. Ruins and bodies litter the world and evidence of salvage activities can be found from off-worlders. A team of IISS staff are currently exploring the world.

Hazard Rating- Moderate

Lotoc:

This is a desert with only a trace atmosphere. It contains the ruins of a modest colony from Strackenz that is now derelict. There is no gas giant or any known sources of water in the system.

Hazard Rating- Moderate

Hynafol:

A system continually affected by frequent electro-magnetic pulses and solar flares from the system’s star. The once populated planet is baked at temperatures in excess of 120°C. Ship’s systems are also at a high risk of failure.

Hazard Rating- Extreme

Leporis:

This is a system of extensive asteroid belts that has not been more than initially surveyed. There appears little of value but this is not confirmed. There are 3 gas giants in system.

Hazard Rating- Low

Nuristan:

This is a system of extensive asteroid belts that has been surveyed. There is little of value and no gas giants present.
