Kapalıçarsı is a dusty trade world with little in the way of economic value apart from a convenient location and very lax laws. The local Türkler people are humans of unknown orgin who allow the Allied Syndicated Planets full access in return for low taxes. All the rival corporations have trading outposts on the world and, as a rule, tend to cooperate. The world is the only offical trading zone between the The Duchy of Far Fenwick and the ASP. Both Imperial states have a shared ancestry but took differing paths that led to enmity and rivalry between them.
There are also countless ‘side hussles’ and ‘off the book’ dealings that also go on at Kapalıçarsı, making it an ideal world to find things. It can also be a crime ridden world of potential danger for those who lack the aptitude to interact well.
