Axphain is a surprisingly beautiful jungle world that Far Fenwick attempted to colonise with the construction of a starport and settler town. Initial clearing of the local terrain quickly led to conflict with the local highly aggressive and resilient wildlife. The constant struggle was finally ended when a species of raptor like lethal predators overran the starport. The abundance a wide variety of destructive creatures that constantly appeared to attack from the deep jungle, led to the abandonment of further colonization plans.
An automated emergency starport still functions but this will degrade over time. as the jungle reclaims it.
Recently the Fenwick Scouts have found a remote island devoid of life that now hosts a small reconnaissance station.
