Edith Morikawa, Tech Sergeant 

Edith Morikawa is a direct descendant of Security Officer Augusto Oakenstien of the original IFA Vicuña crew. Augusto was her 3rd great-grandfather on her mother’s side and was a very prolific father with seventeen acknowledged off-spring.  Augusto Oakenstien was an ex-Imperial Marine and one of the founders of the Imperial Marines of the Duchy of Far Fenwick. Many of his prodigious amounts of 300+ descendants have served, becoming somewhat of a tradition.

Edith Morikawa was born and raised on the Ducal planet of Borduria, a relatively recently settled agricultural garden world. Her parents were colonists from the planet Fenwick and from an early age Edith displayed a technical flair. She enlisted in the Marines and flourished in the support role rising to the rank of Tech Sergeant.

Edith is short for an Augusto descendant but still tall for a Kumiho at 175cm (5’ 9”) with the usual slim athletic build. Despite the fact she is only 1/32nd human, she lacks the usual golden eyes of her main ancestral race; a common trait of human-Kumiho hybrids. She has dark brown eyes, black hair and is in her early thirties.
