Imperial Interstellar Aid Agency (IIAA)
The Imperial Interstellar Aid Agency, IIAA, was created with the primary purpose of coordinating the response to a disaster that has occurred in the Imperium that overwhelms the resources of local authorities. Initially planetary support of disaster recovery efforts is a major part of the IIAA’s charter but the agency also provides planets with experts in specialized fields and funding for rebuilding efforts and relief funds for infrastructure and technological support. The IIAA pays for the training of response personnel throughout the Imperium as part of the agency's preparedness effort.
