Omaren is a balkanize garden world with over 17 factions competing for dominance. Governments range from monarchies, republics, communist states, fascist dictatorships, federal aliiances and corporate entities. Each state has at least a type E starport as all trade with off-worlders. The Omarens are a homogenous group with the same ancestral background and sharing a common language with varying dialects.
Omaren lacks plutonium, uranium and indeed any resource to make atomic weaponry. Their main trade partner is the Allied Syndicated Planets and they are very reluctant to trade such materials as it would potentially destroy a main market area.
