Ziru Kimashargur (Empire of the Virtuous Foremost )
In -4386 IY, 940 AD, the expansionist period of the 1st Vilani Imperium had ended and stability was the aim but still a group of Vilani called the Kimashargur, the Virtue of the Foremost, who still wished to explore and push back the borders of knowledge. They left the Empire and travelled in to the unknown. One of the great explorer trader barges mis-jumped in to the region it found a near ‘empty’ set of worlds ripe to be civilised. As was the Vilani practice they subjugated the indigenous people and established order. They established the Ziru Kimashargur, Empire of the Virtuous Foremost in Vilani.
A garden world was found with a scattered population of humans of Brythonic Terran descent. It was soon civilised and settled as Wisenna the new capital of their intended new empire. The Vilani flourished and spread to control over a score of worlds within a century. The population was a mix of Vilani and Brythonic Terran with a surprising number of other races close by. The Vilani came to believe in the guiding hand of a higher being, The Divine Purpose, which intervened in the region.
For fifteen hundred years the Empire flourished and followed the Vilani pattern of stabilising and solidifying. A series of unsuccessful border wars in the Golden Marches to spinward calmed the enthusiasm of expansionists and peace fell across the empire. The Divine Purpose then intervened with the arrival of a cruiser from the 2nd Imperium, the rule of Man Empire. The Inflexible was a heavy Terran cruiser that had served through the conquest of the 1st Imperium. Arriving at Wisenna it carried on with its mission and soon subdued the much lighter armed and technologically inferior Kimashargur Vilani. The Empire Flourished and the Church of the Divine Purpose was the state religion with regular spectacles of religious power and wealth awing many. The rulers were a mixture of Rule of Man Terran, Kimashargur Vilani and native Brythonics.
